McKinley Kidz is owned by Larissa in Anchorage, Alaska. She is all about the outdoors and getting the kiddos out there too. When they are too young to explore on their own, she believes that's what babywearing is for! McKinley Kidz has a wide selection of carriers for all seasons and all needs.

Alissa is also extremely active in the babywearing community spreading awareness and education plus she is also a teacher so her community is very important to her. She is dedicated to equipping parents with knowledge so that they can make informed decisions about what is best for their family. She is involved in the Far North Babywearing Group as well as the Mamatoto Project.

Larissa's desires for her website were simple: keep it light, airy and fresh and keep it alaskan. I get cold just looking at it! She also provided the watercolor artwork in the header. I was asked to alter it a bit to bring the baby to the forefront of the design and keep the mountains crisp and chilled.

Larissa has managed and updated her content on her own since the launch of the new design.
